அன்றாட வாழ்வில் நகைச்சுவை

நமது தினசரி வாழ்கையில் எத்தனையோ நகைச்சுவை காட்சிகளை கண்டிருப்போம். அந்தவகையில் இன்று நான் கண்ட சில நகைசுவை காட்சிகள்.

1. நான் பயணம் செய்த பேருந்தில் , ஆண்கள் இருக்கைகளுக்கு மேலே " ஆண்கள் " என்பதற்கு பதிலாக "திருடர்கள் " என்று இருந்ததை கண்டு அதிர்ந்தேன். அது கிறுக்கல் என்று நினைக்க வேண்டாம். அச்சடிக்கப்பட்ட ஸ்டிக்கர் . சில வினாடிகளுக்கு பிறகு உண்மை புரிந்து சிரித்தேன். " திருடர்கள் ஜாக்கிரதை " என்பதில் " ஜாக்கிரதை" ஐ ரொம்ப ஜாக்கிரதையாக கிழித்து விட்டார்கள் யாரோ ஒருவன் ( ஆண் வர்கத்தின் மீது கோபம் கொண்ட ஒருத்தி ) . என்ன கொடுமை சார் ?

2. ஒரு உணவு விடுதியின் வாசலில் " இன்றைய ஸ்பெஷல் " போர்டு . அதில் உள்ள அந்த ஸ்பெஷல் அயிட்டம் " இன்று கடை விடுமுறை" . அந்த கடை விடுமுறை தான் ஸ்பெஷல் அயிட்டம் என்றால் கடை சாப்பாடு எப்படி இருக்கும் ? அங்கே சாப்பிடுவதற்கு சாப்பிடாமலே இருப்பது தான் ஸ்பெஷல் என்று அந்த கடை காரனே ஒத்துகொண்டது போல் ஆகிவிட்டது இல்லையா.

3. இதை பார்த்த பின்பு என் நண்பன் சொன்ன ஒரு ஜோக் ஞாபகத்துக்கு வந்தது. நண்பன் படம் பார்த்து விட்டு வந்த பிறகு நான் கேட்டேன் " படம் எப்படிடா.. இருக்கு. எந்த காட்சி உனக்கு பிடிச்சிருந்தது. " என்று .

அவன் சொன்னான் " மாப்ள படத்துக்கு நடுவுல ஒரு சீன் வந்துச்சு பாரு அது ஒன்னு தான் நல்ல இருக்கு . மிச்சமெல்லாம் வேஸ்ட் " என்றான்.

" அப்படியா"

" ஆமா Intermission - என்று போட்டாம் பாரு அது தான் மாப்ள சூப்பர் சீனு. "

உடன் சென்ற இன்னொரு நண்பன் " இன்னொரு சீன நீ கவனிக்கல . அதை பார்த்த பிறகு தான் எனக்கு உயிரே வந்தது"

" என்னடா சொல்ற "

- இதெப்படி இருக்கு.

படிக்க வேண்டிய கடிதம்

கண்கள் இரண்டால் உன் கண்கள் இரண்டால் .. - இந்த பாடல் மார்கழி மாதத்தின் காலை பொழுதில் பால் வாங்க செல்லும் போது, எதிரில் கோவில் சென்று திரும்பும் அழகு பெண்களின் கண்கள் கடந்து செல்வதை ஞாபகபடுத்துகிறது. பாட்டின் தாளம் இதயத்தை துள்ள வைக்கிறது.

இசை அமைப்பாளர் ஜேம்ஸ் வசந்தன் பேச்சில் மட்டும் அல்ல இசையிலும் பக்குவம் தெரிகிறது.

என் இனிய தமிழ் நெஞ்சங்களுக்கு

Today I found a wonderful site for downloading Tamil Songs. Its having a big index of songs in various catagory like new songs, old songs, a-z tamil songs, Voice of Ilayaraja, Mohan hits, S.V.Sekar drama, remix songs, devotional songs, kamal hits, hariharan hits, A.R.Rehman songs, T.R hits and Birthday songs. Waav... Wav.. wav.. really superb collections.

Recently I read an article about usability engineering. Its really fun and fantastic examples for lack of usability engineering. I agree with the auther. 80% of software company doesn't care about usability. Most of my friends in software industry don't know my role. Following conversation always happening with my friends ( s/w professionals).

Friend : What are you doing now.

Me : I am working as a Usability Engineer in a s/w company.

Friend: What is that?

Me : You know How google is being first in Internet industry ? Why not yahoo?

( I will start the usability story from there..)
